Dinner this Week

Here you can find a running list of our weekly meal plans. These meals serve as dinner one night and then lunch the next. No-fuss meals are in bold: Crockpot meals, LeftoversBig Batch meals (where one or two days a year a huge batch of food is made and frozen), and Double Dinners (meals previously made and then frozen.. just thaw, heat, and eat!). Vegetarian meals are in green. Our family abstains from meat on Fridays as a weekly penance, so you will always find at least one vegetarian meal each week. Links to recipes will be added in time.

Week 1:

  4. Honey-rosemary chicken
  5. Black bean burgers
  6. Double Dinner - Crab casserole
  7. Grilled hot dogs and corn cobs
Week 4:
  1. Zucchini boats
  2. Kielbasa 'n' kraut
  3. Spaghetti and meatballs
  4. Sage and brown butter chicken with green beans
  5. Mediterranean flatbreads
  6. Bean nachos
  7. Pork chops with pineapple-mango salsa
Week 5:

  3. Chicken stir fry
  4. Zucchini lasagna (recipe)

Week 6:

Week 7:

  4. Oven-baked chicken and veggies
  5. Tuna salad
  6. Fish with broccoli rabe couscous

Week 8:
  1. Grilled brats and veggies
  2. Fish tacos
  3. Crockpot chicken teriyaki
  4. Spaghetti squash and spinach casserole

Week 9:
  1. Stuffed peppers
  2. Crockpot pork picadillo
  3. Salisbury steak
  4. Big Batch Pierogis
  5. Homemade, canned tomato soup and grilled cheese
  6. Cheesy pasta with broccoli and salad
  7. Linebackers with sweet potato fries
Week 10:

Week 11:

Week 12:

  7. Double Dinner Buffalo chicken pasta (recipe)
Week 13:
  1. Squash soup with French bread
  2. Poblano and corn quesadillas (double dinner)
  3. Whole chicken in the Crockpot + homemade chicken broth
  4. Lemon-garlic spaghetti (squash) with chicken sausage meatballs
  5. BBQ chicken with leftover crockpot chicken
  6. Maple-mustard pork chops with winter squash puree
  7. Chicken and okra stew
 Week 14:
  1. Salmon cakes with green beans
  2. Big Batch Tomato soup and grilled cheese
  3. Chicken with lemon-leek linguine
  4. Beef vegetable stew
  5. Chicken with olives and lemon and pea rice
  6. Lemon and thyme stroganoff
  7. Double Dinner Poblano and corn quesadillas (on the road)
Week 15.5:
  1. Double Dinner Corn chowder
  2. Chicken fajitas (with homemade tortillas)
  3. Black bean burgers
  4. Crab pasta (froze half for a Double Dinner)
  5. Chili
  6. Beef stew
  7. Mexican baked chicken
  8. Tamale pie

Week 16:
  1. Bean and pepper nachos
  2. Homemade Margherita pizza
  3. Pork chops with sautéed apples and onions
  4. Crockpot BBQ pork with roasted cauliflower
  5. Big Batch pierogis with cucumber/tomato salad
  6. Pork chop stir fry with carrots and zucchini
  7. Chicken with lemon-leek linguine
